Meet the Team
Owner/Founder
Nolan Clausen, DC
I grew up in Ord, Nebraska, where I met my wife, Darrien, who was literally the girl next door. Sports were a huge part of my life growing up, and that continued at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where I played both football and basketball for the Prairie Wolves.
Like a lot of athletes, sports also introduced me to injuries. Those experiences ultimately led me into the chiropractic world and began shaping the way I thought about the human body, recovery, and performance.
-
After undergrad, I attended Cleveland University-Kansas City for chiropractic school. While I was there, I developed a passion for functional rehab and understanding how to help people do more than simply get out of pain. I wanted to understand how we could help people become stronger, more resilient, and more confident in what their bodies could do.
That passion led me to take more than 40 additional courses while in chiropractic school and travel across the country to learn from some of the best clinicians and professionals I could find. Over time, one belief became incredibly important to me: strength matters.
Our goal shouldn't end when someone hurts less. We want people to be able to pick up their kids, play the sports they love, work out, travel, stay independent as they age, and trust that their body can handle the life they want to live.
That is why having fitness and strength training alongside our chiropractic office has been a dream of mine for years. I wanted to create a place where healthcare and fitness could work together. A place where someone can go from being injured and frustrated to moving confidently, getting stronger, and eventually doing things they may have thought their body could no longer do.
For me, this is bigger than exercise. It's about building a body that allows you to keep saying yes to your life.
That mission has become even more meaningful as I've gotten older and started a family of my own. Darrien and I now have three beautiful girls, Theo, Collins, and Madden. Our house is also home to our two dogs, Salvy and Ollie, and seven chickens, so there is rarely a quiet moment.
Being a husband and a dad has given me an even greater appreciation for what strength really means. I want to be able to play with my girls, stay active with them, and be the kind of dad, and eventually grandpa, who can keep showing up.
That's exactly what I want for the people who walk through our doors. I don't just want you feeling better today. I want you strong enough for everything you still want to do tomorrow.

I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and athletics have been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I played basketball and football, competed in track and field, and eventually ran collegiate track at Nebraska Wesleyan University, specializing in the hurdles.
My experience as an athlete wasn't always easy. Injuries throughout college changed my relationship with sports and eventually left me struggling to do things I once took for granted. That experience sent me down a path of learning everything I could about health, fitness, nutrition, and what it takes to build a body that allows you to keep doing the things you love.
-
After years of dealing with hip and back pain, I reached a point in my early twenties where even walking and sitting could be uncomfortable. I wanted to play basketball, train, and be active, but I didn't trust my body to handle those things anymore. For someone who had spent most of his life as an athlete, that was an incredibly difficult place to be.
I spent years searching for answers through physical therapy, chiropractic care, training, and countless hours of my own research. That process sparked an obsession with health, fitness, and nutrition. As I gradually began making progress myself, I developed a passion for helping other people overcome their own hurdles and eventually started my own nutrition coaching business.
My path ultimately led me to Nolan through networking. His rehab-focused approach to chiropractic care was different from anything I had experienced before and changed the way I thought about movement, programming, and strength training. Today, I'm stronger and feel better than I ever have. I'm back to playing basketball, golfing, lifting, and doing many of the things I once wondered if I'd be able to comfortably do again.
That experience is a huge part of why I coach. I know what it's like to lose confidence in your body, and I know how meaningful it is to get that confidence back. I want to help people become stronger so they can continue doing the things that make their lives fulfilling.
My passion for strength training led me to become a trainer and help bring the vision for MOVEX Strength to life. I'm incredibly proud of what we've built: a place where strength training, healthcare, recovery, and a great community exist under one roof. Being part of that journey and helping our members discover what they're capable of is something I don't take for granted.
Outside of MOVEX, you'll usually find me doing something active or enjoying a much slower pace. I love basketball, golf, strength training, movies, TV, and gaming. My wife, Maggie, and I got married in July 2026 and live in Omaha with our two cats, Mazie and Percy. We're usually tackling a house project, golfing when we get the chance, or getting outside for a walk. And when fall rolls around, there's a pretty good chance our house smells like a fall candle.

I’ve been passionate about health and fitness for most of my life and love helping others become stronger, healthier, and more confident. With 15 years of experience as an educator, helping people learn, grow, and work toward their goals has always been an important part of who I am.
-
My journey with MOVEX started as a member. I experienced the workouts, coaching, and community firsthand before ever becoming part of the team. As I spent more time training here, I knew I wanted to become more involved. Eventually, that journey took me from being a member to joining the MOVEX team as a trainer.
Having been on the other side of the coaching experience gives me a unique perspective when working with members. I know what it’s like to walk through the doors as a member, learn the workouts, challenge yourself, and experience progress over time. Now, I’m excited to help others through that same process, discover what they’re capable of, and celebrate their progress along the way.
Outside of the gym and my career as an educator, family is a huge part of my life. I’m a wife and mom of four. Whether I’m teaching, training, or spending time with my family, I value opportunities to continue learning, growing, and helping the people around me do the same.

I took a unique path into the health and fitness industry, an industry I’ve been a part of for more than 10 years. My journey began while I was in school to become a middle school PE teacher. I started working part-time at a gym, coaching strength and conditioning classes, and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident.
-
Even after becoming a full-time teacher, I continued coaching fitness classes on the weekends because I simply loved doing it. Over time, I realized that my passion went beyond teaching exercise. I loved helping people improve their quality of life through movement and fitness.
Whether I’m working with a middle school student or an adult, I believe everyone benefits from becoming stronger, more fit, and healthier. My goal as a coach is to create an environment that is positive, upbeat, inclusive, and most importantly, fun. I want people to leave a workout feeling accomplished and excited about what their bodies can do.
When I’m not in the gym, you’ll probably find me with a bass guitar in my hands. I’m a lifelong musician and currently perform locally and regionally with a variety of artists and bands. Whether I’m teaching a class or standing on a stage, my goal is the same: bring positive energy, connect with people, and help everyone have a great time.
